The quick selection tool-

lets you quickly paint a selection using an adjustable (which can be made bigger and smaller) round brush tip. It also lets you select areas of similar tone and colour and change it.The Quick Selection Tool works more like a brush, allowing us to select areas simply by "painting" over them. To colorize the image, I’ll select the Colorize option by clicking inside its checkbox.

In many rap videos women have no identity except as sexual playthings and "eye candy

In music videos the girls just act as "sluts" and will do anything to get in the video and been seen by other people so that they will get asked by other companies to work for them to.These girls in the videos think that they are getting paid for doing this but in most of the videos they star in the dont get paid. 

These images do provide pleasures to some viewers. But the concern is that men may internalise the notion that women are nothing more than sexual objects waiting to be used.

I think some of this statement is true as a fair amount of men will agree and see women as nothing more than sexual objects. A majority of viewers will only be watching it for the women whereas some for just the music. Watching many influencing rap videos such as Asap Rocky’s video ‘Goldie’ which is explicit and has nude scenes will definitely influence an older generation but more so a younger generation to view girls as sexual objects.

These sorts of images are not unique to hip hop. Objectified female bodies are everywhere. They appear throughout our culture in films, advertisements, television programmes etc. However, within music videos, this is virtually the ONLY vision of women available.

These artists only put girls that wear clothes that cover half there body's so that more people watch them and then they make more money anf get more views for people and then more girls see them and want to get involved in the videos.

          There was not a blank slide in the middle of the presentation.
          We used a different background or different font and font colour.

Representation:
I don't agree that to be a real man you have to have loads of girls around you and have to be strong and tough.You also don't need to have loads of money,most people that have loads of girls should only be because they have money and they are strong.

I think that it is out of order if you dominate women and don't let them do anything, like the stero type that all women cook , I disagree with this. If you get called names like soft and wimp it don't really matter because they are only names they aren't going to live with you for ever.

Not all men are like other men that listen to rap and hip hop and how they act in music videos.Some men stay with only one women and don't have loads of money and dominate there women and make them cook and clean.

They try to show that men are out of order and treat women in the wrong way, that they were gold chains and have a lot of money.Also that they have nice cars and more then one lady with them at any time.Finally that they are in the streets or in clubs and bars in stead of at home.

design

My final design for my logo looks like a chicken worried because he is getting cooked because it is food tech. I am happy with my design because it is out of the blue and i got to use my own colours and design of it. I got to choose my own font which i though was good because then it can be my own and i wont have copied anyone else. Im glad i learned how to use a few more tools on photoshop to use in my design.

Im happy with my picture because it will catch peoples eyes if they look at it because of the bright colours. The bad thing about my design is that there are parts on the photo which are white from the background. I need to practice and find out more things about photoshop to make y work better and get better grades.My logo would be better if i added the school badge to show it was food tech at my school.

Denotation and Connotation 

Number of the beast : A piece of graffiti with loads of colours, the devil is calling the creature to become evil.

born in the usa : A man in a white shirt, blue jeans and i pink hat in his back pocket also red and white stripes in the back ground. it looks like he is in college or going out.

is this it : A lady stroking her leg wearing a black glove. it makes me think that she is lonely

queen ii : A black back ground with all the band member in front of it so they stand out more.

unknown pleasure : The image is a mountain range with all different size waves it could mean all up and down.

wish you was here :  There is a man on fire and the background some bunkers i think. one man misses the other maybe because he died or went away from him.

who's next :  Four people on a mountain with a building that they are leaning on, maybe it could be a bad place for them and people might of died there.

nite vision :  Pink stripes covering the writing so people cant see it, maybe to show that in the dark you can see things. the album cover stands out if it is around dark colours and catch people attention.

parrell lines :  Black and white parallel lines in the background with 5 men in black and white suits and 1 woman in a white dress in the middle.There are five men a just one woman.

tutu :  There is a black background and the mans faced zoomed into the screen so he stands out and you can see nothing else around him. It might be showing he is on his own and looks annoyed and quite serious.

I Found out on photoshop how to use the change text button and the size of the font. The button is the same a "T" if you click on it it will show a bar at the top with the font size and the font , if you want it bold , regular , oblique and bold oblique also if you want it in sharp , crisp , strong or smooth. Finally if you want to put the writing on the left , right or center of the page.
